ENVIRONMENT:

• A provider of tailored Financial Solutions seeks a highly meticulous Financial Analyst with strong financial acumen and business insight. You will provide strategic financial insights, data analysis, and support to enhance decision-making processes within the organization.
• This role involves creating financial models, analysing key performance metrics, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to ensure the company achieves its financial goals.
• The ideal candidate will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, at least 1 experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role with a proven track record of developing financial models and analysing financial performance & proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

DUTIES:

Financial Analysis and Reporting -

• Analyse financial data and prepare detailed reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track financial KPIs.
• Present financial findings and insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting -

• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting financial outcomes.

Modelling and Decision Support -

• Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and scenarios.
• Analyse the financial impact of proposed initiatives or policy changes.

Compliance and Audit Support -

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant data and documentation.

Incentive Management -

• Ensure incentives are reviewed and paid.
• Design incentives for sales staff, to drive performance.

Market Research -

• Conduct market research to identify trends and benchmark company performance against industry standards.
• Monitor competitor performance and industry developments to inform financial strategies.

System Maintenance & Operational Support -

• Maintain and administer spend management systems.
• Ensure that approval processes are followed, with the ability to make decisions on these processes.

Collaboration and Communication -

• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications –

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience/Skills –

• Minimum of 1 experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
• Proven track record of developing financial models and analysing financial performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
