Financial Manager at Snatch.work

Introduction

Leading, fast growing technology equipment importer and distributor looking to employ a Financial Manager based on - site in Johannesburg. The company comprises many well - known brands, and is represented in SA, Mauritius, the US, and Hong Kong.

The position is a high growth role and the function will be multifaceted from taking full responsibility of the financial reporting, combined with process optimization and operations; delivering strategic insight and being highly involved in commercial management functions.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the Financial Reporting and financial management of the group of companies
• Preparation of management and group reporting packs, as well as preparing analytical reporting and insight into the business performance for Exco meetings.
• Take responsibility for the preparation of the annual budgets, forecasts etc.
• You will be highly involved and provide input into strategic planning.
• Managing, executing, maintaining and improving the financial models controls and processes for accurate measurement and reporting for the entity
• Highly involved in the commercial management with contract review negotiation and expense optimisation to drive optimisation
• Take responsibility for the company's regulatory compliance

Desired Qualifications, Experience And Competencies

• Must a CA (SA) with minimum 2 years post article experience (can be within Audit firms)
• Technically strong, with strong IFRS, and consolidation experience
• Previous exposure with Inventory, such as stock counts, valuations etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong academic results

Salary Expectation

• R650 000 - R1,2m p.a. very dependent on qualifications and experience
