Financial Planning Analyst at OrderIn

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Prepare Orderin Budgets, Forecasts and Presentation Packs
• Monitor macro-economic drivers and trends to guide financial strategy
• Work cross-functionally across the business to develop strategic direction and initiatives
• Determine improvement opportunities within the existing business model
• Develop data-driven forecasts for Orderin
• Continuously evaluate the Orderin Business Model for potential risks and opportunities
• Perform financial modelling on initiatives, expansion, and new business models.

Reporting

• Prepare Cost Centre reports (Actual vs. Budget) and distributes to stakeholders.
• Reporting on Variances, Performance Indicators, Trends and Financial Ratios and then making recommendations for improvements.
• Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports to support reporting
• Assist the Finance Team to ensure Accuracy of Management Accounts and Compliance of Internal Controls
• Ensure correct Accounting, Reporting, Review and Financial Controls for Delivery Zones
• Provide Expense and Cost Centre allocations and Purchase Order Approval to ensure accuracy of Accounts.
• Manage Orderin’s Logistics Reporting, compare Actual vs Budget, review fleet utilisation, balancing per delivery, per zone and make recommendations where required.

Cost Control

• Review, Monitor, Recalculate and Approve Monthly Costings and Billables Reports, Costs Allocations and Actual Costs
• Monitor, Prepare and Report on Capital Expenditure (Actual vs Budget, Capex Utilisation and Return on Investment) per Project etc.
• Monitor all Delivery Costs/Volumes, investigate variances, provide reasons for overspending and make recommendations for improvements Risk Management

Team management

• Providing coaching to members of the team to assist them in achieving goals and developing key skills
• Identifying the team’s strengths and weaknesses in order to effectively delegate tasks and determining areas of opportunity and developing the appropriate steps to improve on them.
• Setting clear team goals (OKR’s and KPI’s) and evaluating progress along the way to allow the team to work collaboratively.
• Identifying and implementing processes to ensure that individual projects, goals, communications, and important documents always remain clear and accessible.

• Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role
• Develop and maintain internal controls that maintain and ensure the integrity of financial planning and analysis data and data models.
