Financial Systems Manager at Scatec ASA

Main responsibilities 

• System Owner of Dynamics 365 and Eye-Share
• Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of financial software, such as Dynamics 365, Kyriba, Eye-Share and other reporting platforms.
• Ensure that financial systems are properly configured, and data integrity is maintained.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders in Finance and Digital & IT Team to identify opportunities to continuously improve, optimize and enhance financial systems' functionality.
• Work alongside Process Owners, Super Users to analyse and assess existing financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and streamlining on established and optimized processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders in finance and Digital & IT teams to design and implement optimized workflows in alignment with financial systems capabilities.
• Utilize financial systems to generate accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Process Owners and Super Users to ensure the data captured and reported aligns with business requirements, quality demands and principles
• Ensure financial systems adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and data security protocols
• Collaborate with Process Owners and Super Users to ensure proper controls are in place to meet compliance requirements, both globally and locally
• Provide training documentation and guidance to Key Stakeholders in Finance on financial systems usage, best practices, and troubleshooting
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers to address system-related inquiries, updates, and enhancementsManage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, verifying timekeeping records, deductions, and ensuring accuracy

Qualifications and compentencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Proven work experience (5+ years) as a Finance Systems Manager, IT Systems Analyst, or in a similar role with expertise in financial software and systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems and Power BI advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems, such as Dynamics 365, and preferably other financial systems, such as Kyriba (Treasury Management) and Eye-Share (Invoice Management)
• Language: fluent both written and spoken in English
• Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Demonstrated project management skills for system implementations and upgrades.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and data security standards.
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Additional information:

• Should be available and accustomed to travel both domestically and internationally to 3rd world countries
