Appointment requirements

• Grade 12
• At least six months’ relevant working experience in administrative support services Computer literacy
• SAP proficiency will be an added advantage
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost 

Primary functions

• Answer and screen all telephone calls
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Record information
• Type reports, letters and minutes according to needs
• Maintain priority files of reports and correspondence
• Assist clients, customers and internal staff by requesting and providing information and maintaining friendly interactions
• Make copies, mark mail out and dispatch mail 
• Keep daily staff attendance and movement sheet up to date
• Arrange venues for workshops and meetings
• Prepare documents necessary to conduct workshops and meetings
• Take minutes of meetings for the unit
• Distribute agendas and minutes in time before meetings
