You will be part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions and mining team. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in a multinational organization and in an environment involving different cultures and different challenges.
Your responsibilities
Perform trade-related maintenance.
Fitter will include precision and detail assembly.
Ability to work from Technical Drawings and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
Translate design requirements into assembled units in the most efficient manner, applying common sense and assembly experience.
Repair equipment and machinery according to maintenance standards.
Strip; inspect and repair various mining related equipment such as crushers; gearboxes and materials handling equipment.
Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health Safety Act regulations, manufacturing, and Company standards.
Ensure personal and co-workers’ adherence and compliance to security and Company’s SHE objectives.
Work overtime, shifts, do standby and be available for callouts should the need arise.
Experience of lifting and crane equipment would be ideal.
Performs other duties as and when required to perform work in underground conditions and extended working hours.
