Food Preparation Assistant - Food Factory at Babylonstoren

Babylonstoren, located in Simondium, has a wonderful opportunity for a Food Preparation Assistant to join our Food Factory. We specifically need an individual with experience in ready-to-eat food production. As Babylonstoren’s team is currently expanding, the food team’s offering must also continually be refreshed and renewed. We thus need top class new staff!

Requirements

• A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
• Three years’ working experience in a ready-to-eat food factory.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Energetic individual with a positive attitude.
• Honest, reliable individual with sober habits.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Positive attitude towards teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work dayshift in the Food Factory.
• Apply food safety principles.
• Daily use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate orders and manage stock.
• Prepare food according to prescribed recipes and procedures.
