    Forensic Administrator

    Job Purpose

    To perform administrative and clerical tasks within the Forensics department by working alongside management and investigators

    Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:

    • Training/Conference/Workshop bookings
    • Filtering of inquiries to determine cases for registration.
    • Registering of filtered cases to investigators.
    • Assisting management and the investigators in the efficient control of workflow,
    • Diverting non forensics inquiries to the correct departments.
    • Performing general departmental administrative functions, i.e. logging of calls, control of assets, orders, courier services, stationary control, etc.
    • Payments of invoices, salaries, staff reimbursements, probes, whistle-blowers, etc.
    • Managing the legal process and recoveries of outstanding amounts where perpetrators have defaulted on payments.
    • Responsible for conducting his/her own minor queries/investigations.
    • Liaising with internal and external clients / providers / members etc.

    Work Experience
    Required

    • 1-2 years Medical Scheme and administrative experience
    • Computer Literacy
    • Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook

    Preferred (would be advantageous)

    • Knowledge of Medical scheme insurance industry, including:
    • Basic understanding of healthcare legislation
    • Experience of working in a healthcare environment

    Education / Qualifications / Accreditations with Professional Body

    Required

    • Grade 12

    Preferred (would be advantageous)

    • Administrative qualification
