Free Store Clerk - JHB at DHL

In this Free Store Clerk position

• You will distribute required reports in a timely fashion and maintain inventory accuracy on par with KPI’s.
• You will manage customer-specific requirements as well as maintain and improve relationships with Controllers.
• You will distribute required reports in a timely fashion and provide support on customer queries.
• You will reconcile Pick Requests and Free Store Records; communicate results accordingly.
• You will co-ordinate inbound cargo from other Stores, as well as outbound cargo to other Stores.
• You will provide assistance to other Clerks and assist and guide security officers/3rd parties within the Free Store.
• You will control all movements to and from, as well as cargo placements in, the Air Exports Store.
• You will maintain 100% accurate Free Store records and log and report unmarked damages.
• You will log and investigate discrepancies; initiate required corrective actions.
• You will create, print, and file all required paperwork and manage and file all POD’s.
• You will maintain and communicate all required reports, including damages and discrepancies.
• You will manage pro-forma claims process and ensure timely incident handling and reporting.
• You will ensure proper housekeeping & safety within functional area.
• You will observe, maintain, and follow warehouse safety and security policy and procedures.
• You will ensure that the quality of services delivered meet or exceed requirements.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• Must have a Matric or equivalent certificate
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehousing
