Full Stack Intermediate Developer at DigiOutsource

Purpose

• You are a Software Tools Developer, looking to contribute your expertise and enable projects by delivering and supporting a technical solution for Atlassian technologies, including but not limited to developing, maintaining and supporting development tools in the Atlassian Stack

Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To
Operating Duties

• Support JIRA project administration by setting up effective workflows, complex projects, permission schemes, custom forms, fields, dashboards, etc.
• Perform 3rd party plugins POCs and evaluations.
• Develop custom scripts, listeners, plugins, client integrations, and client extending Atlassian Tools.
• Collaborate with internal customers to develop requirements and design of workflows.
• Extend monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Leverage off the Cloud Infrastructure and Software as a Service Methodologies
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to our many thousands of users.
• Support Rally to Atlassian Migrations efforts.
• Triage and troubleshoot Atlassian incidents/issues and work closely with Vendors to patch Atlassian and its plugins.
• Tune and optimize the end-user experience, Schema configurations, and underlying performance of Atlassian Tools.
• Create GitLab pipelines to automate Atlassian deployments
• Support Jira, Jira Service Desk and Confluence in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with other Enterprise Tools team members on Developing/supporting other mission critical tools that either directly or indirectly support Atlassian Tools.
• Be able to leverage Relational Databases (SQL) to build up applications as well as reporting
• Be able to leverage NoSQL Databases (MongoDB) to build up applications as well as reporting
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards using structured data
• Create advanced software solutions, using Restful Apis
• Create Client-Side React applications

Essential Criteria

• At least three years of JIRA usage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical teams and deliver useful solutions.
• Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of programming in C# .Net Core and React.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum to develop software and infrastructure.
• Proven abilities with database software, such as TSQL and NoSQL
• Willing to present software solutions conceptually and diagrammatically
• Must be systematic and process driven.
• Must be comfortable with creating documentation.
• Excellent communication; verbal & written skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to listen attentively and process information quickly.
• Able to ask clarifying questions and provide accurate information.

Desirable Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud Application Development.
• Experience with Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with AWS/Azure services
