Full Stack Open Source Developer at iOCO

  We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Technology Engineers/Software Engineers to join our innovation team in Johannesburg South Africa, bringing with you a broad range of experiences and a passion for modern development technologies and practices. As a software engineer you'll be part of innovation team, building and testing great products that delight, transform and have a revolutionary impact on our business.
Working as part of the Innovation team and collaborating with teams across the Enterprise IT department to solve business problems - internal and external; by coming up with creative solutions and employing future technologies that can have revolutionary impact on the bottom line.

On a day to day basis your role will involve:

• Using modern software engineering frameworks and technologies for conception, specification and development of forward-looking and also unconventional solutions is an essential part of your role
• You working in a team to create proof-of-concepts that can be tested and implemented in production development to demonstrate the sustainability of the solutions
• You handling issues related to microservices, architecture, distributed systems, middleware, infrastructure, integration

• Strong experience in building web applications

• Familiarity with high availability distributed systems, SOA and RESTful APIs
• Strong development skills in Angular/ Python
