Full-Time Educator_Johannesburg Campus at The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP)

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:

• Teaching five modules per term
• Quality Assurance of the delivery of a portfolio of modules and their associated part-time educators by building a community of practice to support educators
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to assist Learning Designers and Curriculum Developers
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of campus culture amongst part-time educators.
• Be an active member of the Research and Ethics Committee

The role will report directly to the Head of Learning and Teaching: Physical Campuses.                                
Qualifications and Experience: 

• Minimum qualification of a Master’s degree in Psychology with professional registration with the HPCSA
• A PhD, or working towards one will be an advantage
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Higher Education, particularly within a blended-learning context
• Technologically savvy
• Strong academic writing skills
• Experience with curriculum development
• Exceptional organisational, management, and leadership skills
• Understanding of the higher education landscape in South Africa
