Duties

• Assist in the unloading of stock from trucks
• Assembling of boxes
• Moving merchandise between departments
• Assisting drivers with deliveries of merchandise
• Ensure garments are counted, checked and pre packed according to company standards
• Ensure garments are graded according to company standards
• Ensure boxes are sealed and packing slips are attached
• Ensure housekeeping standards are adhered to
• Fixing stamps and labels
• Cutting commodities or articles by hand
• Delivering or conveying parcels or goods
• Filling bins or dump baskets with goods
• Labelling containers
• Mending bags or snacks
• Repairing boxes or crates
• Operating a Photostat machine
• Operating any power driven machine not specifically mentioned in the Government Gazette 39671
• Placing or stacking goods on racks or shelves
• Repetitive measuring for stock
• Setting up or dismantling corrugated or fibre board boxes or similar containers
• Strapping boxes
• Usage of stamps
• Wrapping parcels
