Requirements and Expectations

Minimum Requirements

• ABET Certificate (higher qualifications will serve as an added advantage).
• Knowledge of general work practices, including handling and operating equipment and appliances.
• Understanding of lawn care, pruning, and trimming techniques.
• Basic knowledge of chemical use, including dilution and mixing of chemical products.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures for tools, machines, and equipment.
• Familiarity with water utilization and water resource management principles.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and government legislation relevant to maintenance and operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general assistant and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Load and unload furniture, equipment, and materials to designated areas.
• Clean and maintain government vehicles and assigned work areas.
• Conduct grass cutting, trimming, and pavement cleaning to maintain site cleanliness.
• Cut and stockpile trees and assist in vegetation management.
• Support the upkeep and general maintenance of dam premises, grounds, and facilities to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
