General Worker - Field Support at Rubicon Energy & Automation

Responsibilities:

• Assist Field Technicians: Support the Lightning Field Support Team in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting lightning protection systems.
• Equipment Handling: Responsible for the proper handling, organization, and maintenance of tools and equipment used in the field.
• Material Management: Assist in the procurement and inventory management of materials needed for field operations.
• Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up equipment, ensuring safety measures are in place, and assisting in the installation process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during field support activities.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Field Technicians and other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Requirements:

• Matric/NQF4 level qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in lightning protection systems.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
