Grade 10. Grade 12 will be an added advantage. Technical qualification in Plumbing will be an added advantage. Code 10 driver’s licence with valid PDP. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
2-3 years’ relevant experience and knowledge in water reticulation within Local Government authority or Government entity. Preference will be given to residents of Midvaal Local Municipality.
DUTIES
To supervise and the team members to ensure that all water reticulation activities are executed in terms of work orders received and instructions. Driving heavy motor vehicles and transporting labourer team to and from work sites.
Assists in the maintenance of water reticulation supply systems. Loading and off-loading of materials and equipment. Responsible for general maintenance of equipment used.
Responsible for general administration and filing of works-orders. Responsible for productive and effective use of equipment and resources to ensure effective service delivery.
Responsible for discipline and control over subordinates. Attend to public complaints as per instruction of a supervisor. Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (Supervisor) from time to time.
