Global Finance Manager at Dalberg

ABOUT YOU

• You are a strong financial accountant with at least 8-10 years’ work experience in corporate finance, with tax and treasury experience, preferably at a multinational company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CA/CPA/Master’s degree in accounting/finance preferred
• 8-10 years of work experience in corporate finance and accounting, with manager experience
• Experience with tax and treasury functions, e.g.: central consolidation of accounting information across foreign operations and preparation of robust consolidated financials for audit/tax purposes
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Clear communicator and good listener able to manage stakeholder expectations, with interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure in a fast-paced environment to drive results and meet tight deadlines; experience training and coaching accounting and finance skills
• Familiarity with one or more complex global ERP systems such as Maconomy, NetSuite, or comparable financial systems
• Technical systems aptitude – rapid on-the-job learning ability to work with various financial systems
• Experience working in a multinational company including working with multiple currencies and intercompany transactions; professional services industry preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW

• The Global Finance Manager will help lead our Treasury function, and facilitate cash flow management globally, including building and managing global banking relationships, managing global reserves, and supporting the creation of Dalberg’s Clearinghouse.
• Lead global and regional cashflow analysis and forecasting to ensure sufficient cash reserves to cover global bills and all intercompany payments
• Manage Global Shared Services (“GSS”) expense reconciliation process and bookkeeping, and audit confirmation requests, along with annual partner services invoicing across all offices
• Manage global payments and manage the GSS bank account and banking relationships
• Manage Global Reserve Fund (“GRF”) accounting and financial statements preparation
• Lead preparation of intercompany payments calculation and perform subsequent reconciliation of account balances
• Ensure compliance with global statutes and local regulatory requirements such as transfer pricing regulations
• Drive operational excellence by helping implement new processes, streamline existing ones, and improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations across the different businesses
• Ad hoc finance activities, including supporting on year-end close, global trainings, inputs into finance calendar etc.
• Manage up to two direct reports as our function grows
