GM - IT at DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager IT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with a proven track record of success in leading and growing a team. The GM IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT department, including strategy, operations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities
• Monitor and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and make recommendations for implementing new systems or processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers
• Ensure the security and integrity of all company data and systems
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
• Communicate IT updates and changes to the rest of the company in a clear and effective manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security
• Experience in budget management and strategic planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus
