GM Manufacturing at Pollock & Associates

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM to oversee and manage a highly mechanised manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the overall operations, production, quality control, and maintenance of the plant.
• Role requires extensive experience in managing a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of production processes, production machinery and a track record of meeting and exceeding production targets.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
• Post Graduate qualification related to job function will be advantageous.
• Proven Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
• Intermediate to advance knowledge of Syspro.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• An in-depth knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and production process.
• Advanced business acumen
• In depth financial skills drawing up forecast, production plans, budgets for branch.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
