We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM to oversee and manage a highly mechanised manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the overall operations, production, quality control, and maintenance of the plant.
Role requires extensive experience in managing a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of production processes, production machinery and a track record of meeting and exceeding production targets.
Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
Post Graduate qualification related to job function will be advantageous.
Proven Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of Syspro.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and production process.
Advanced business acumen
In depth financial skills drawing up forecast, production plans, budgets for branch.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
