    Google AdWords Specialist

    EDM Google AdWords Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Google AdWords specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and executing Google AdWords marketing strategies in order to attract potential new customers and retain existing ones. 


    Duties include 

    • Creating Google Adword accounts.
    • Interpreting statistics and developing new campaigns and strategies together with the other departments (social, SEO, development, etc.)  
    • Overseeing existing campaigns and making recommendations on how to optimise them
    • Analysing trends and making data-driven decisions
    • Writing engaging copy for ads
    • Providing ongoing support of SEO initiatives 
    • Utilizing bid management tools
    • Conduct keyword research and selection for Adwords campaigns
    • Using tools like Performance Planner, Reach Planner and Google Recommendations to forecast and optimize campaign performance. 

    Qualifications & Experience 

    • Must be certified in:
    • AdWords Fundamentals 
    • Search Advertising 
    • Display Advertising 
    • Video Advertising 
    • Mobile Advertising 
    • Must have at least 3 years experience in Google Adwords. 
    • Must be able to work on Google Apps - Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.

    • Ability to perform research on a variety of different industries

     IEDM Mock Up Brief 
    Prospective candidates must show his/her capabilities by creating a proposal for a mock up client wanting specific results. Each objective must be reached with a specific Google Ads product and a separate technical document must be submitted alongside the proposal.
