    Risk Manager - Springs

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, review, and enforce policies & procedures according to legal & social standards guideline.
    • Procurement and maintenance of emergency equipment and PPE.
    • Schedule and execute contractors & internal audits against set standards.
    • Communicate and promote safe working and operating practices amongst employees, visitors, and contractors.
    • Implement SHE strategies for the site on an annual basis and submit to the relevant seniors for review.
    • Create a culture of safety
    • Lead and champion change management on safety
    • Identify and mitigate top risks for the site
    • Manage and control the SHE, security, canteen budget
    • Facilitate investigations on ALL incidents, RCA, with the different departments, report to DOL within 7 days, where applicable and submit COIDA outstanding documentation in specified time and follow up.
    • Report and Log SHE incidents on the Global system and ensure that it is investigated until completion and report all recordable injuries accordingly.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports and presenting them to management
    • Identifying and executing health & safety training needs (i.e., HSE induction, Emergency action plan, Health & safety rep, Safe handling of pesticides &chemicals).
    • Coordinate health and safety committee meetings and monthly HSE meetings and evacuation drills.

    Requirements:

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:

    • National Diploma Safety Management or NEBOSH qualification equivalent
    • Atleast 5 years mangement experience in a similar role. 
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal and influential skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
    • Subject matter expert with a proven track record of culture development
    • Good knowledge of Risk assessments, SHE Inspections, Permits, HCS, Incident investigation and safety related requirements, as well as Health and Risk (security) knowledge to a semi factory environment.
    • Assist in SHE strategy plans, RCA, Kaizen, aspects/impacts, ISO standard implementation, NCR’s/CAR’s
    • Valid SA Drivers License

    Global Data Governance Specialist - Rosebank

    As the Global Data Governance Specialist, you will…

    • Ensures global processes are followed and leverage global tools to govern data in a way that is consistent and standardized.
    • Implement and maintain data governance strategies, including enforcement of policies, guidelines, standard procedures, and ensuring proper communications.
    • Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements for various functions to ensure master data integrity across the organization.
    • Drive data quality by creating reports/metrics to ascertain data quality and integrity; research, analyse and root cause identification of data errors and providing key design input for application functionality.
    • Collaborate effectively with Cross-Functional Teams to ensure the execution of cross-functional projects related to data governance.

    About You.

    • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with data management/governance, including but not limited to data governance, master data management, data protection, and/or data quality.
    • Experience working in SAP for master data management (Customer, Product and Vendor) is compulsory.
    • Experience working with PIM and Data Catalogue (Alation) / Data Governance / MDM technologies and systems is preferred.
    • Experience in CPG or food and beverage industry is preferred.
    • Ability to harmonize systems, processes, and/or data across business areas and functions.
    • Ability to develop and implement data governance policies and standards and document solutions in support of standards and best practices.
    • Build data catalogues and business glossaries.
    • Demonstrated track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrate attention to detail, and reflect well on the organization.
    • Experienced in participating or leading organizational change management initiatives.
    • Demonstrate analytical and interpretation skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across teams.
    • Demonstrate the ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with all teams.
    • Demonstrate critical thinking that leads to process improvements that benefits the organization.

    Engineering Manager - Springs

    As the Engineering Manager, you will…

    • Ensure a high level of plant availability is achieved by managing the maintenance, breakdowns and asset reliability schedules and programs
    • Support the implementation of global maintenance management initiatives
    • Drive Reliability-Centred Maintenance and associated practices
    • Ensure condition inspection and lubrication routes, schedules are followed and evaluated regularly
    • Ensure investigation of RCA’s and drive implementation of corrective practices
    • Compile asset life matrix to give overview on status of assets inside plant
    • Drive continuous improvement

    About You.

    • BTech/BEng Degree Mechanical or Electrical
    • Government Competency Certificate (Factories)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a FMCG factory in a similar role
    • Must have good working knowledge of OHS Act.
    • Good understanding of design codes and equipment integrity restoration practices
    • System and sub-system integration
    • Good understanding of CMMS (e.g. SAP) and applicable transactions
    • Cost control and budget management
    • Excellent Interpersonal skills, managing a diverse team
    • Understanding preventative maintenance systems
    • Ability to chair and direct Safety, Health and Environmental meetings
    • Ability to handle disciplinary issues
    • Root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable counter measures
    • Appointee as GMR 2.1
    • Experience with the OHSA and relevant Regulations
