Grade A/B -Hotel Security Senior Supervisor at Fidelity Services Group

About the Role

• We are seeking dedicated and professional Hotel Security Officers to join our team at a prestigious FIVE-STAR hotel. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and present a neat appearance will be key to your success in this guest-facing position.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the hotel premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents, including but not limited to security breaches, disturbances, and guest inquiries.
• Ensure that security equipment, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, is operational and report any malfunctions to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and addressing their security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with hotel management and staff to uphold safety protocols and enhance security measures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Conduct regular checks of guest areas, ensuring a secure environment at all times.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your security skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid Grade A/B Psira Certificate
• Atleast 3-5 years experience in a supervisory role or hospitality setting
• Well Spoken in English and can communicate fluently 
• Neatly groomed individual 
• Computer literate
• Matric  
• Should be able to travel to Cape Town, Tokai areas

Additional Qualifications

• First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and safety certification.
• Additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with security technology and systems.
