A 1-year contract is available for 2x Graduate Industrial Engineers to join our client's team as an intern. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable experience in optimizing manufacturing systems, analyzing workflows, and supporting the development of software solutions that improve industry practices.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Recent graduate with Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma (P1 & P2 completed)
Industry experience advantage: Mining, Heavy Engineering
Understanding of industrial engineering principles and their application in manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB) and basic programming skills is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced setting
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist industrial engineers and software developers to analyze and improve processes
Assist in the implementation and testing of software solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency
Support the collection and analysis of data related to manufacturing performance and process improvements
Contribute to the development of process models, simulations, and optimization strategies
Participate in project meetings, provide insights, and assist in preparing technical reports and documentation
Help identify and troubleshoot issues within manufacturing systems and software interfaces
