Graphic Designer at Optimi Learning

The Job

Optimi is recruiting a creative graphic designer. The successful candidate must be able to work within timelines and have a fresh approach towards his/her work. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. The candidate should also have experience executing marketing projects including brochures, flyers and web banners (Video editing skills would be advantageous).

Requirements:

• Related qualification in Graphic design
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe CC – InDesign, Illustrator, Word and PowerPoint) Creative, self-motivated designer with good administration skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Good understanding of related software, online and print
• Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills

Duties:

• Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics.
• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
• Increase user-friendliness in digital products.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
• Liaise with marketing and design teams (UX/UI) to ensure deadlines are met.
• Follow and interpret brief following brand guidelines and fulfilling marketing appeal.
• Take on challenges and find creative solutions.

The position is based in Centurion.
