Group Financial Manager - Sandton at Paycorp Holdings

Job description
Oversee full financial function and Group reporting processes including:

•   Monthly management accounts
•   Group financial statements (incl. foreign subsidiaries) in accordance with IFRS, as well as individual entities
•   Analyse and provide commentary for financial/management reports
•   Budgets – Coordinate the development and monitoring of Group budgets and financial forecasts
• Streamline existing internal processes and controls including leading the ongoing development of the financial system and reporting tools
• Controls and Procedures: develop and maintain the financial policies and procedures and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls
• M&A: financial modelling and business combination reporting
• Manage and oversee external audit function
• Manage a small team
• Work closely with the legal department on Company Secretarial related matters
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial management and regulatory requirements

Tax: Public officer and group tax reporting including review and filing:

• Statutory returns as required
• Liaison with consultants on the Namibian returns
• Tax planning, to ensure tax efficiency

Minimum requirements

• CA (SA)
• Min 5 years’ experience after articles in a similar role
• Advanced Excel and modelling, Caseware, Sage 365 and Finnivo experience
• IFRS & Tax experience
