    Group Procurement Specialist

    Job purpose

    The role of Procurement Executive is working within the Group Procurement & Legal team and alongside the Regional EMEA CFO. To drive both compliance with the company policies and procedures as well as cost optimisation from third party contracts to create value and generate a competitive advantage for TMF.  

    The strategic principles for the Procurement team are: 

    • Supervise and guide business owners from inception when a purchasing need has been identified 
    • Drive compliance with Group Procurement policy and its controls  
    • Utilize an objective, data-driven, pragmatic approach to control / optimize cost 

    Successful candidate can work mostly remotely or from one of our offices in EMEA region

    Key Responsibilities:

    At a Group level:  

    • Meet with stakeholders at project inception and periodically throughout the procurement process to advise them on how to manage their procurement effectively and to negotiate with the third party to maximize commercial value  
    • Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures 
    • Collaborate with Legal Counsels to ensure satisfactory contractual terms are secured   
    • Build constructive relationships with stakeholders and provide them clear, pragmatic advice  
    • Maintain data on contracts to drive annual initiatives to improve the company’s commercial and cash position   
    • Measure and maintain satisfactory compliance with the company’s Procurement Policy 

    At a Regional level:  

    • Support the collection of spend data annually, analyze the data to provide pragmatic recommendations to the EMEA CFO on how to reduce and control their regional third party expenditure  
    • Support annual cost control and optimization initiatives  
    • Deliver annual training to the region on the procurement process and key controls  
    • Review and approve contracts that meet the regional threshold  

    Key Requirements:

    • Experience with technology agreements 
    • Good command of both spoken and written English  
    • Commercial awareness and negotiation  
    • Stakeholder management and relationship building 
    • Project management 
    • Preference for candidates with the ability to manipulate large quantities of data to permit analysis 
    • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent international qualification) in an appropriate subject, for example, finance or business and/or a Procurement related professional certification such as CIPS, MCIPS or CPSM is an added advantage
