Head - Corporate Servers at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification plus an ICT certification
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Corporate/ Enterprise Servers within the Information Technology environment
• 3 years at management level
• Local municipality experience would be advantageous.

Key Performance Areas

• Deliver a support, development and maintenance service to ensure that users and business requests are delivered. and the Infrastructure systems meet business requirements.
• Advising and informing stakeholders (normally at Executive Director, Director and Manager level) whose business processes interact with ICT Infrastructure resolution of issues, results, achievement and opportunities.
• Managing multiple projects through the life cycle by ensuring effective delivery of projects.
• Branch and resource management of the ICT infrastructure environment.
• Financial planning and analysis for short, medium and long term initiatives.
• Value creating activities by good management of budget allocations in order to maximize the City's investment in its ICT infrastructure.
• Applies a substantial body of professional knowledge in solution architecture and design of hardware infrastructure and backend support of multiple SAP Applications.
