    Head - Employee Assistance Program

    Requirements

    • Master’s Degree in Social Work / EAP / Behavioural Science
    • Registration with relevant professional council
    • Minimum 8 years relevant professional clinical experience coupled with managerial experience
    • Knowledge of the relevant Acts and Regulations pertaining to the job
    • Computer literacy
    • Valid Code EB Driver’s license

    Key Performance Areas

    • Ensure the operations management of the EAP Section
    • Provide professional EAP services to the organisation in order to increase service delivery within the organisation
    • Co-ordinate key projects within EAP & Wellness in support of the department programmes
    • Monitor and report on project deliverables against the SDBIP and service delivery model
    • Ensure the development of specifications and tender documents in support of SCM processes and represent the department at the BAC
    • Ensure management of professional service provision for EAP programmes through identification, acquisition and evaluations of external service providers
    • Provide input to the strategic framework and objectives of the department functions
    • Provide input into preparation of the capital and operating estimates and control expenditure against the approved budget allocations
    • Co-ordinate and communicate audit findings and forensic matters and manage recommendations
    • Manage staff performance, productivity and discipline/skills development within the branch
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
    • Manage and co-ordinate information flow within the branch
