Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Technology,
Public Management and/or Business Administration
Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience in Human Settlements, Transaction Management and/or Support Services environment
Proven experience in Systems and Database management
Relevant managerial experience, including performance and staff
management
Extensive knowledge of National, Provincial and Local Government
Housing programmes, legislation and policies
Advanced computer literacy
A valid Code EB driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
Plan, manage, co-ordinate and control the development,
implementation and operation of the housing database
Identify and define the immediate, short- and long-term
objectives/plans associated with the management and further development of the integrated housing database and Housing
Subsidy System in accordance with the range of National Housing programmes
Plan, manage and monitor housing allocation and beneficiary selections’ processes and procedures
Provide functional specific training, control and general leadershipwithin the Housing Database branch
Prepare and assist with the compilation of beneficiary management policies and procedures to ensure housing officials carry out their functions and activities
Design, develop, implement and manage an integrated housing database in order to fulfil a political mandate
Manage, monitor and control all aspects relating to the Housing
Subsidy System and Beneficiary management functions and responsibilities in order for the City to fulfil its obligations and responsibilities
Manage, monitor and control all aspects relating to the City’s
Integrated Housing Database system functions and responsibilities to ensure that its national housing projects, obligations
