    Head: Human Resources Business Partnering 

    A well-known South African Insurance Company is looking to hire a Head of Human Resources. This is an executive level role, reporting to the Executive: Human Capital. You will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of strategic business plans in partnership with the various functional leads while driving strategic human capital imperatives relating to culture, coaching, performance management and alignment to the balance score card at organisational, functional and employee level.

    Qualifications and Experience required:

    • 8 years of broad and progressive HR experience with a proven track record as a business partner who effectively collaborates with functional specialists, management and leadership.
    • NQF Level 7: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
    • Experience advising and counselling managers on how to identify and attract key talent, develop succession plans, utilise recognition and rewards to incentivise behaviour, and help managers drive performance improvement and career growth within their teams.

    Key areas of responsibilities:

    • Facilitation of compensation, benefits, employment and employee relations programs.
    • Provide ongoing support and consultation to management.
    • Ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
    • Drive the people agenda within the functional business unit in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition and Organisational Effectiveness teams.

    Applicants should have a proven track record of managing HRBP's, coaching leaders and assisting functional heads to achieve performance objectives in line with strategic imperatives. Knowledge of learning and development programmes, policies as well balance scorecard are essential.
