    Head: Integrated Bid management

    To oversee and direct a process that produces a carefully conceived, high quality compliant bid, that is professional in its presentation and delivered on time by means of detail planning, leading, organising, negotiating and directing people and activities throughout the bid lifecycle as well as providing a platform that enables self-help for the sales force to produce simple proposals without the bid office assistance. 

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute towards the development of the strategic plan including the bid office resource plan and operational and quality targets that drive the company to achieve its strategic objectives. 
    • Collaborate and facilitate relationships with customers and partners, with the aim of supporting market dominance. Ensure a customer and sales orientated mind-set is implemented. Drive customer experience improvement.  
    • Responsible for executing a bid strategy to produce a winning and commercially viable bid response and ensure adherence to corporate governance, policies and procedures as well as requirement reporting and analytics 
    • Capable of structuring complex and high value bid solutions 
    • Manage and monitor the annual budget and forecasts within defined guidelines, directing and coordinating activities to achieve cost targets. Forecast and identify new opportunities for improved performance 
    • Lead and promote a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement, innovation and transformation.  
    • Business planning and Team’s Strategy 
    • Complex and high value Bids production 
    • Responsible for high value commercial deal structuring 
    • Project management execution - ensuring timeous delivery of Bid production deliverables against milestones and commercial project objective charters, managing stakeholders and eliminating Bid management risks 

    Qualifications & Experience:

    NQF 4: Grade 12

    • OR NQF 6: 3 year Diploma/ National Diploma in IT/Business/Commerce.
    • 7 years’ experience, of which at least 2 years must be on management level.
