A relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years' relevant experience
At least 3 years' supervisory experience
A relevant degree is preferred with experience in Remuneration and/or Job Evaluation.
Key Performance Areas
Plan, lead and direct the Corporate JE function
Drive and implement Corporate wide JE projects
Forward planning and implementation of JE best practise, principles and technological development
Develop shortand medium-term plans for the JE functionality to achieve its strategic goals and objectives
Manage and control compliance of JE, system guidelines and provisions of the relevant sections of the Collective Agreement and the City's policies and practices
Ensure the adequacy of job descriptions in terms of quality, training needs and the alignment to the organisational structure
Implement JE communication strategies aimed at creating awareness
Directs and controls the key performance indicators and outcomes of personnel within the JE Unit.
