Head of Group Financial Accounting at ERG Africa

Key Responsibilities 

• Responsible for co-ordinating statutory & group Audit across region.
• Control over all balance sheets in the region through monthly reviews to ensure financial/accounting compliance and proper internal control ,
• Consolidation of monthly accounts by ensuring no intercompany mismatches and other specified procedures
• Ensuring implementation of consistent accounting policy across region as per IFRS, and group approved accounting policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA (SA) qualification
• Trained in one of the big four Audit Companies
• Good academic background
• Sound IFRS and Statutory Accounting knowledge
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of post - qualification experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle Hyperian or other Consolidation Software system

• Computer literacy MS Office (with a high proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience
