Calling all future digital masterminds! We are looking for a Head of Google Paid Search & SEO to join our growing team. If you're enthusiastic and have a passion for all things digital, this is the role for you. The candidate must have media agency experience and \ or have worked for a Medium – Large corporate.
This person will be responsible for knowing everything there is to know about the biggest, most awesome, search engine in the world. If they love the Google mind set, this person will love working with my client! This team player will be responsible for the research, strategy, planning, growth and positive ROI of top South African brands in our various client verticals- based on clever, innovative, effective and tactical Google (PPC\ Search) strategies and plans. This person must know all about the latest Google products at all times, latest Google Trends and build strong relationships for us as a Google Partner.
This person will also be responsible off page and on page SEO for our clients and know how to use SEO strategies to get more leads and sales for our clients by generating quality traffic to sites and know how to optimize consistently to deliver the goods. It goes without saying that part of the role will be to research, analyze, review and implement changes to websites so they are working to their highest potential and optimized for engines. Modern SEO specialists know that search engines are placing increasing value on quality content – which includes keyword or phrases that increases traffic to a site- so this person will be required to make recommendations and generate ideas in this regard.
This person would need to understand the role of Google in achieving key objectives, and knowing how to do keyword research, search excels, Google plans and reporting across all Google products including GDN, YouTube etc. is a must.
We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. You would need to be able to manage a team of Google campaign managers, train where needed and assist with any Google queries.
