Head of Project Realization at GEA Group

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Manage all cluster project realization business associated with HRT
• Manage Engineering processes and standards
• Manage Project Management processes and standards
• Oversee senior project managers
• Review high-level deliverables
• Manage all project finances post order
• Ensure engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all engagements
• Provides leadership
• Develop, implement, and maintain sound business practices
• Develop and implement strategic objectives that are aligned with the Company's strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Heads of HRT Sales and Service to grow business
• Collaborate with Engineering teams of other divisions in region to improve overall regional business
• Build Relationships with HRS staff on global level

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree: Mechanical Engineering
• Qualification in Project Management
• SAQCC Authorized Refrigeration (Designer and Inspector – Industrial Refrigeration)
• Knowledge of Construction Contracts
• English and Afrikaans (proficient),
• Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills
• Team player, good net-worker and negotiator 
• Strong organizational skills
• Very good communication skills,
• Leadership skills, entrepreneurial competencies
