Essential Job Functions

• Implementing company technical vision and leading the company’s technological development along with other Head of Departments
• Have 10+ years of experience in software & application development
• Must have managed team of developers of 15-30 developers
• Ensure smooth delivery of Projects with the development team and be hands on involved in software development as well.
• Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, mobile and other services
• Ensuring technology standards and best practices are met
• Establishing software development process and set objectives for the process
• Supervising quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests
• Monitoring performance profiling tools and procedures
• Sharing technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
• Ensuring the company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulation
• Outline the goals for research and development.
• Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
• Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivering of IT projects to market.
• Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely.
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Make sure the team follows DevOps culture
• Software analysis of applications and systems
• Software development and maintenance of applications and systems
• Mentor the development team and participate in deep technical architectural discussions to ensure the platform is stable and scalable
• Defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and defining technical solutions to proposals
• Contributing to the evolution of the product architecture.
• Contribute and adopt practices such as reuse, defect prevention, process optimisation, process automation, productivity enhancement
• Managing technology budgets and time frames

Key skills & Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Software Development on Microsoft Product Stack,
• Must have managed team of developers of 5-10 developers
• Depth/breadth of knowledge of multiple technological areas, and architectural areas, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks
• Strong experience with designing and building SAAS Products, including other concepts like security, scaling, robustness etc.
• Experience designing, developing, testing and debugging complex multi-threaded software.
• Strong full stack software engineering background (C#, .NET)
• Ability to communicate with client's technical departments
• Solid database knowledge – MS SQL
• Modern CI/ CD best practice
• Extensive understanding of cloud based tech – Azure
• Strong technical troubleshooting and performance analysis of issues during the implementation and support
• Familiarity with agile development tools and practices including continuous integration and deployment
