    Head Of Talent Management - Johannesburg

    RESPONSIBILITIES      

    • Develop and implement effective talent management strategies for identifying skill gaps that aligns to business objectives, BBBEE objectives, EE targets and Skills development plans in partnership with HR.
    • Development, design and execution of specific programmes and initiatives to support aspiring leaders to develop the knowledge and skills required to step up to managerial and leadership roles in line with SAQA requirements.
    • Makes recommendations to EXCO regarding training and development interventions to ensure staff is equipped with the necessary skills.
    • Plans and manages annual training and development budget and manages ongoing relationships with all vendors ( including SETA’s)
    • Ensures maximum ROI on training initiatives
    • Custodian of bi - annual climate survey,  reports and action plans.
    • Ensures defined career paths and succession plans in place for key roles within the organisation.
    • Ensures the successful implementation and management of all learnership, internships and graduate programmes and provides on-going analysis of programmes and candidates.
    • Continuous personal development, ensures attendance of regular webinars, training, programs to keep up to date on trends and industry best practice.
    • Supports the Training department where necessary with facilitation and coaching at managerial level.
    • Plan and lead execution of end-to-end onboarding for our national and global team members.
    • Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
    • Report on metrics to measure training effectiveness, utilisation, and compliance.
    • Connect performance management, succession planning with development solutions to support talent management requirement.

    QUALIFICATION         

    • Relevant Completed Degree
    • Relevant subject matter certifications
    • Certified assessor, moderator and verifier would be advantageous.

    EXPERIENCE   

    • Min 10 years’ experience in a similar role at a Senior Managerial level.
    • Experience in content creation and facilitation at managerial level.
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Detailed knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
    • Train-the-trainer and coaching experience.
