    Head of Technical Aftersales Support (Region Africa)

    Job Description

    The Head of Technical Aftersales Support Africa (TSS-AF) would be the expert for the Automotive Aftermarket (AA) technical aftersales support division for the Africa region and drive the related service activities (Technical and product trainings, Field service & repair and Technical Hotline).

    This will be done in close cooperation with TSS-EU departments as well support functions such as sales, workshop concepts, marketing/product management,  and with focus on service, quality, performance, customer satisfaction and productivity.

     

    Principle Accountabilities;

    • Execute EMEA targets and strategies in Africa (AF)

    • Create strategy for TSS activities in the region;

      • Technical and product trainings

      • Field service and Repair for products

      • Technical Hotline Service

    • Work closely with sales and workshop concept organization to identify requirements and define service operations timely

    • Lead, manage and develop TSS team

    • Develop sales and growth strategy for TSS activities in AF in alignment with EMEA TSS concepts

    • Analyse market for potential customers and competitors to derive additional sales opportunities

    • Being responsible for profitability and regional TSS P&L (incl. pricing of services)

    • Analyses cost changes and impacts on margin and derive appropriate actions

    • Technical support to the internal organisation as well as support customer exhibitions to promote Bosch products with appropriate TSS funding

    • Develop aligned communication strategy with relevant departments for TSS services

     

    Minimum Requirements;

    • 8-10 years working experience in a similar role in Automotive sectors

    • Proven track record of technical knowledge and experience in the Automotive industry

    • Knowledge of workshop equipment products

    • 8 years+ experience with the management of technical teams 

    • Excellent communication skills on all levels, must be fluent in English (speak, read & write) other languages advantageous

    • Must be fully proficient on all MS Office packages

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Tertiary Degree in Engineering / Technical studies or related field
