High School Principal at Optimi Learning

Candidate Requirements:

• Level 7 Diploma/Bachelor’s degree with a professional teaching qualification
• Over 4 years’ experience for candidates with level 7 qualification and 2-3 years’ experience for candidates with a level 8 qualification
• Knowledge of the various phases of education
• Fluent in English Must be computer literate including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain an environment that secures high standards of planning, organizing, teaching, learning, behavior, and achievement
• Ensure monitoring and evaluation of the quality of teaching and standards of learning and achievement for all learners Manage parent interactions and general communications
• Ensure the professional duties of all teachers and teaching assistants, as defined in their contracts
• Ensure all systems are in place for the performance management of staff and that their effectiveness is monitored
• Preparation and lecture allocated subjects at the campus
• Understand and apply CAPS and the assessment requirements as indicated in the study material and/or facilitators’ guides.
• Manage quality assurance of allocated subjects.
