    HR Graduate internship (Port Elizabeth)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with HR administration and support to the HR function across all aspects of HR
    • Pre pare as applicable new hire onboarding packets and offboarding termination packets, which includes orientation
    • Learn and answer questions and provide followup for employees, management, approved third party clients regarding company policies, procedures and benefits.
    • Help with administrative employee issues
    • Create and maintain all employee personal files
    • Maintain all HR related reports and documentation
    • Support administration and industrial relations functions as required
    • Learn and support functions of the company electronic platforms in relation to human resources
    • Assist with employment verification work and channel queries regarding all employee benefits; conditions of employment; rules and regulations.
    • Update company organograms and data base systems
    • Assist department with QMS audit preparations
    • Maintain an awareness of HR best practices at all times
    • Ensure appropriate security for all HR related information.
    • Support employees and line managers as per their requests, escalating issues within Human Resources.
    • Assist in all training needs and Disciplinary enquiries
    • Prepare/draw up ERF’s, Employment contracts, Job descriptions, Job Advertisements, Regret letters, Letter of employments/invitations/motivation
    • Control the distribution and company notices
    • Controls the distribution of job adverts by physical or electronic notice
    • Ensure notice boards are up to date in terms of statutory compliance for the display of certain statutory regulations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Unversity graduate by degree or national diploma recognized by the MERSETA in Human Resources

    SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE

    • Self disciplined, 
    • Problem solver, 
    • Team player, 
    • Knowledge of standards, codes and specifications
