    HR Manager - BPO Sector

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Leadership and Department Structuring: 

    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the HR team. 
    • Structure the HR department for optimal efficiency and effectiveness. 
    • Lead change management initiatives to adapt to evolving organizational needs. 

    Industrial Relations (IR) Expertise: 

    • Manage all aspects of IR, including BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) and EE (Employment Equity) compliance. 
    • Handle disciplinary inquiries and provide guidance to staff on disciplinary actions. 
    • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures relevant to the BPO sector. 

    Employee Wellness and Development: 

    • Oversee employee wellness programs and initiatives. 
    • Promote a culture of professional development and growth. 
    • Identify skills gaps within the organization and provide recommendations for addressing them. 

    Problem Solving and Strategic Planning: 

    • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address HR-related issues and challenges. 
    • Contribute to the company's strategic planning processes with HR insights and recommendations. 
    • Identify operational gaps and provide strategic solutions to enhance overall company performance. 

    Budget Controls and Reporting: 

    • Manage HR budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation. 
    • Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms for HR activities. 
    • Provide financial recommendations to align HR strategies with business goals. 

    Training and Compliance: 

    • Conduct training on company policies and procedures across the organization. 
    • Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and industry-specific regulations. 
    • Develop a comprehensive training plan to enhance employee skills and knowledge. 

    Adaptability and Change Management: 

    • Adapt quickly to changing staffing and IR needs. 
    • Lead change initiatives seamlessly and minimize disruptions. 
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. 
    • 2-4 years of proven BPO HR leadership experience. 
    • Expertise in IR, including BEE, EE, and disciplinary inquiry experience. 
    • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. 
    • Strong reporting and budget management skills. 
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 
    • Strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities. 
    • Proficiency in change management and administration. 

    Additional Skills (Desired): 

    • Strong understanding of South African labour laws. 
    • Experience in providing IR guidance to staff during disciplinary actions. 
    • HR certification (e.g., HRCI, SHRM). 
    • Knowledge of industry-specific challenges and best practices in the BPO sector.
