About The Role
Own the execution of core human resources across the employee lifecycle
In this role you are responsible to drive the execution and general advisory on core human resources services and solutions along the employee life cycle. If you possess a broad knowledge of human resources function, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to development, if you have a passion for HR, and are familiar with labor law and look to broaden and advance your career in the field, this is the place to be.
Reporting to the HR Cluster Head WEMEA you work closely with functional HR Partners, Country leaders and HR Specialists within EMEA as well as experts from the Centers of Excellence (CoE), Recruitment, People and Culture Development (PCD) and Reward, to use tools and to handle activities via a pragmatic approach and with a rigorous focus on operational excellence, to deliver end to end HR in country and across countries within the cluster as required

This position is being filled as temporary cover during parental leave for 7-8 months.
Core Activities
- You will have "in" Country responsibility for all people advisory activities including onboarding, talent management, transitions, total reward and employee relations.
- You will be responsible for payroll and HR operations working with HR Service Delivery Expert and HR Operations Associate.
- Ensure that people practices are compliant through application and sound knowledge of policies, regulations, and employment law.
- Execute standard labour relations matters including restructuring, grievances, disciplinaries, exits, underperformance, performance and absence management. Including where necessary, working with internal and external Legal Counsel and Employment Tribunals.
- Lead restructures and reorganizations: leading redundancy consultations and responsible for reviewing and completing all relevant documentation
- Deploying cultural change interventions, capability and upskilling plans for line managers and employees guided by regional Performance CD
- Enable and challenge the business on performance and talent management, promotions, and annual compensation review process.
- Understand the workforce / talent challenges in the country with an outside in perspective
- Deploy relevant standard solutions to address issues in line with the need of the business (talent management, succession planning, engagement, attrition, retention, performance management, compensation)
- Enable Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) throughout the employee life cycle.
- Provide regular feedback on issues on policy practicability and efficiencies to Centre Of Excellence (Rewards, Group HR Processes, HR Organization Management, etc.)
- Consider consequences from key people metrics to diagnose trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Present at relevant forums internally and externally where relevant
- Represent HR at local Boards and externally in relevant Country forums
Professional Experience And Skills
- 8+ years Human Resources or equivalent experience as HR Partner, Manager or Generalist
- Sound demonstrable knowledge of human resources core topics (recruitment, performance, reward, development etc.)
- Solid experience of local legislation, benefits, and market trends
- Demonstrable track record of working with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong coaching, interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Experience of in working in global organizations with matrix organizational set up (preferable)
- Fluent in English
- Experience in talent forums, skills and employment equity forums, Board of directors and other executive committees
- Ability to rigorously implement end to end HR on time and with a can-do attitude. Flexibility to adjust to changing situations, prioritizing workload, maintaining a positive attitude
- Confident with technology, applications and have ability to interpret and draw from data
- Challenge behavior that lacks integrity and support others who do the same
