You, as our new Local HR Service Associate Consultant are responsible to provide and resolve queries, consult employees and carries-out operational HR administrative tasks across the whole employee life cycle (from onboarding, contractual changes, benefit administration to the termination process). In addition, the Consultant will need to closely team up with the HR Director and our team, collaborate when necessary with our stakeholders i.e. Payroll, Total Rewards, Data Management and colleagues from other supporting functions as well as with the local business units.

Building relationships with our stakeholders and other key HR Specialists in EMEA to facilitate the delivery of Services.
Be second level support for all kind of HR inquiries coming from employees in accordance with our Service Level Agreements
Ensure smooth HR Operations and Service delivery in Africa
Drive and ensure quality and compliance for the respective operational HR areas & tasks assigned
Onboarding of new hires and related administration
Administration of contractual changes
Support Benefits administration
Promotion of the distributed HR Operational Model and support of local HR communication activities
HR Portal pages maintenance and input to the HR knowledge base
What you bring
Business/HR Degree
2-3 years of work experience in an HR role (e.g. HR Specialist or Generalist), good understanding of HR processes
Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong customer service attitude
Experienced to work with confidential and sensitive information
High level of accuracy with a high attention to details, quality driven, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Able to accept and embrace continuous changes and improvement
Able to plan, work, drive and own initiatives and independently execute them without supervision in a highly virtual setup
Ability to work in a truly international team where team members are based in different locations and belong to different cultures
Professional communication skills; both written and verbal
Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Desirable:
Knowledge of employment/ local labor law/legislation
SAP HR system knowledge
Experience working in a multinational context, virtual team and company in the IT sector
Work experience in an HR Shared Service environment
