    HRBP and People Partner

    JOB PURPOSE

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Enabling line managers to be great leaders everyday by partnering with them and providing them with excellent guidance
    • Proactively engages with the business about Key Employee Moments
    • Acting as first “human” single point of contact for any employee challenge, developing close relationship with employees and Line Managers and providing them with excellent guidance. You make their life’s simpler and more effective
    • Finding the right approach for every question using our policies, available expertise, knowledge of laws and systems, social skills as well as your common sense.
    • Knowing the employees and ensuring they know you. This allows you to be available for ad-hoc requests but also to address issues early on
    • Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are consistently applied across the business
    • Being involved in organizing and implementing workshops, HR (organizational) changes, health, wellbeing & development activities for employees, enabling them to thrive.
    • Owning and leveraging technologies (e.g. Una Hub) to deliver a great employee experience
    • Managing a variety of employee transactions in HR systems end – to -end (e.g. Workday) and leveraging a network of experts behind the scenes to provide the right solution first time.
    • Collaborates with the business for the creation of a high-performance culture by implementing team and organisational design solutions, providing measurable performance indicators and improvement plans.
    • Brings HR insights (including Employee and Industrial Relations) to bear on all people related issues (people, capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture)
    • Maintains a strong relationship with the union to ensure a stable IR climate and involvement in wage negotiations.
    • Leads/supports the People Development Pillar in the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) programme to move site to World Class Standards
    • Drives cost efficiency through tight management of labour, indirects, overtime & absenteeism.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • Relevant HR Qualification
    • Relevant experience in HR systems and processes.
    • Relevant experience in ER/IR systems and process in a complex environment
    • Understanding of management trade unions, key legal, compliance, safety and other regulatory issues involved in key HR processes – knows key issues to look out for and when to get expertise teams involved
    • Ideally has had experience of HR service centre environment and/or expertise teams as well as hands-on HR management experience in the business
