    JOB PURPOSE

    Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  If you are  To provide multidisciplinary Engineering skills to ensure preventive and proactive maintenance to achieve Warehouse performance targets. Responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities and repair while ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of the warehouse infrastructure, including physical building, equipment, and utilities. Ensure general maintenance within specific unit of responsibility within prescribed guidelines and support all engineering contractors on site.  then this role is just for you!

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    Main Accountabilities: 

    • Faultfinding and problem solving on machinery.
    • Able to identify deviations and non-conforming items on equipment.
    • Able to assess exactly what steps to take to rectify these deviations and non-conformances.
    • Able to carry out the work required to an exceptional standard as well as identify any further potential problems that might be visible with minimum supervision.
    • Make recommendations for continuous improvements.
    • Raise both Safety and Engineering Tags.
    • Raise One Point Lessons and cascade these to others. 
    • Must be able to Work at Heights, be proficient with the Permit to Work Issuer Requirements.
    • Carry out Roof Inspections, Testing of Fire Sprinkler Systems and Emergency Power Generators.
    • Must be prepared to undergo training in MV Switchgear Switching, and inspection of the System as part of daily and weekly inspection schedules.

    Engineering

    • Diagnoses and interprets multi-disciplinary problems (fault finding) to optimize output.
    • Ensures that service levels are maintained at the required standards by carrying out all breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance effectively.
    • Support maintenance contractors for area of responsibility.
    • Assist in all projects that are running in Warehouse. 
    • Take responsibility of managing control systems in the Warehouse.
    • Siemens S7 PLC Servicing and Fault Diagnosis, including minor Programming of PLC Units.
    • Participate in strategic engineering plans to deliver maintenance benefits.
    • Ensure availability and effective utilization of equipment.
    • Responsible for the system integrity and backups.

    Problem Solving and Decision Making

    • Responsible for faultfinding and problem solving of engineering/ operational problems by ensuring that the appropriate corrective action regarding any deviation from standards is taken.
    • Identifies the major engineering losses in the Warehouse and investigates using problem solving methodologies.

    EM (Effective Maintenance)

    • Contributes to the reduction of breakdowns in area of responsibility by analyzing breakdowns.
    • Participates in strategic engineering plans to deliver maintenance and breakdown reduction benefits.

    Administration

    • Completes all required documentation to standard and captures SAP maintenance and information on relevant data system.

    SHE

    • Ensures that Company safety rules and regulations are adhered to within the sphere of responsibility.
    • Ensure that all Engineering equipment comply with safety standards.
    • Assist with audits.
    • Implementation and assists with maintaining Unilever safety and 5S standards in the Warehouse.
    • Assists with behavioral safety to eliminate incidents and near misses.

    Skills, Experiences & Qualifications

    • N4 in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation and Trade tested Millwright.
    • Min 3 years’ experience in a Maintenance environment with knowledge in Instrumentation and Control systems.
    • Good communication with willingness to share expertise and knowledge.
    • PC skills (SAP, Access, Outlook, Microsoft Office).
    • Problem solving and fault-finding skills.
    • Experience on Shuttles, High speed packaging and Switching would be advantageous.

    Global Payroll Specialist – CI & Innovation (La Lucia)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Global Payroll Specialist, part of the Global Payroll team. As a valuable support member of the Service Delivery team, the Global Payroll Specialist will work closely with a Senior Payroll Leads across all Markets and other Payroll Specialists to assist in the daily administration of all payroll functions. You will work very closely with the PEO and Payroll teams in the market as well with Procurement, VMO, Finance and IT teams to land projects in full and on time.

    Supply Chain Finance Accountant – Inland (Sandhurst)

    JOB SUMMARY 

    Accounting controls

    • Maintain strong accounting controls across all areas of Make toDeliver (MTD) andcost management in line with GAAPand UL Global controls. Support Factories throughself-assessment audits and providing insights on key gap sand risks. Reporting totheSUDsand Site leadership teams on thekeycontrolsincludingmonthlyconsumptionvariances, stock counts, inventorywriteoffs, expired stock and stock in transit etc.

    Cost Management and reporting

    • Comprehensive understanding of all Site Contracts, costing allocation rules to derive category results per the UL SOA and CRG guidelines. Reporting of actual spend vs. target, identifying opportunities/risks and advise management. Reporting on savings in SRS and provideforecast update if savings missed/land. Cost Centre management and analysis, providinginputs and management of production cost in GCUT. ProvideP&L insights to Site LTs and SUDfor production cost and MUCs bridging the gap between cost centre reporting and the category results. 
    • Budgeting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual site budgets. E2E understanding of Operational Plan (OP) and recoveries and PCE insights in line with Factory labour structures, line speeds and run strategy. Reporting category results to FET and CCBTs.

    CAPEX Management and reporting

    • Control project authorisations, budgets, expenditures, WIP, capitalisations, forecasting and reporting as well as asset verification. Understanding CAPEX processes/UL policies, loading of projects in Marlin and reporting.Business partner with Site Engineering teams to ensure timely management of CAPEX spend and capitalisations according to project end dates. Manage the physical asset tagging post capitalisation and conduct regular asset spot checks on production lines.
    • Finance Partner- Projects and business cases
    • Financial support to Site LTs and SUDs to quantify risk and rewards for key projects, business cases and initiatives. Advise management on key financial indicators for capital projects to support growth and Supply Chain deliverables.

    Digital

    • Curiosity and practical application on digital initiatives and automation of reporting in applications such as Power BI.

    Ad-hoc

    • As required, preparing adhoctasks for Supply Chain and Finance

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Factory Finance required
    • Financial Acct qualification with CIMA or good progress toward CIMA OR a CA 
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to manage upwards 
    • Strong work ethic, great attitude, self-starting & proactive mind-set, resilience in the face of pressure, strong team player

    The category & Strategy planning manager is responsible for developing and implementing the activation plan that supports the objectives of our brands and the customer. Lead the development execution of brand/category solutions & activities for Customer/Channels based on fully integrated, shopper, customer and channel insights.
