    Human Resources Consultant

    Description

    We are looking for an HR Consultant to join our team, with an earning potential of R9 000 - R12 000 CTC per month. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the HR department has the critical administrative support it needs by conducting recruitment, documenting answers to staff queries, improving and maintaining our online employer brand and helping with HR-related administration.

    Our business is based on people and as we grow we need to hire for new roles and we also need to hire to cater for staff turnover. Therefore without effective and efficient recruitment, we will not have a capable workforce. Staff also need to have a neutral channel where they can raise issues and ask questions - without this staff can feel isolated and poorly supported.

    Finally, an online employer brand is critical because it contributes to making DotActiv a place where people aspire to work.

    As an HR Consultant, you will report directly to our HR Manager and will work closely with our training specialist. Your main duties would include but are not limited to, headhunting and recruitment, maintaining personnel records, creating documentation for our InsiderBase, communicating with staff and developing content for our careers website.

    Some of the specific responsibilities include:

    •  Recruitment and talent pipeline management (headhunting, screening CV’s, conducting initial interviews and scheduling interviews). 
    •  Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries.
    • Create efficiency by documenting answers to common questions and posting them on the InsiderBase.
    • Manage and maintain our online employer brand (creating employee value proposition pages, career pages, job application landing pages and regularly contributing to our Culture blog).
    • Manage and maintain HR-related documentation and the Activ8 employee database.
    •  Provide support to our training specialist.

    Requirements

    • A relevant B-Degree (M+3) at a recognised and SAQA accredited university is required.
    • (Honours) (M+4) at a recognised and SAQA accredited university is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of the principles of retail, HR & recruitment
    • Project Management
    • Excellent written. oral and presentation communication skills
    • Excellent client relationships building skills
    • High capacity to represent the brand
    • High degree of client engagement
    • Ability to multitask
    • Remain attentive in an often-busy environment
    • Be naturally calm and focused
    • Technology passion, proficiency and agility
    • Be versatile if participation in other types of activity is required
    • Google G-Suite/Google Docs for business
    • DotActiv software (training will be provided)
