Job Description

• A well-established company within the construction industry is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Payroll Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or a related field will be advantageous.
• Proven experience in a payroll administration role.
• Experience with payroll processing and statutory submissions.
• Knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory deductions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
• Strong numerical, analytical and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage confidential information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within the construction industry, particularly with site-based employees, timesheets and overtime calculations, will be advantageous.
