Overview

• A well-established tissue manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced, results-driven professional to join their team. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the human resources function across the business, handling everything from recruitment to payroll support and South African labor law compliance.

Key Requirements

• Education: Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, with an FMCG or manufacturing environment background being highly advantageous.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA) and employee lifecycle management.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and payroll processing / time & attendance systems experience (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Core HR & Recruitment: Manage the complete HR function, including recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction.
• Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary processes, CCMA preparation, and provide expert labor advice to management.
• Administration & Development: Oversee employment contracts, personnel files, performance management, leave, benefits, and training coordination (WSP/ATR administration).
• Payroll Support: Assist with payroll administration through accurate data preparation, verification, and statutory reporting compliance.
• Compliance & Policies: Maintain and implement corporate HR policies while leading Employment Equity (EE) compliance and audit preparation.
