The role:

• Dedicated to helping students to develop a deep understanding and associated skills in Art & Design to Junior High and International GCSE students, as well as the completion of associated tasks.
• Ability to employ a variety of teaching and instruction methodologies to individuals and groups of students
• Thrive in an innovative educational environment where the teacher enables individual student progress
• Display agility to work in an environment where change and adaptability are part of the everyday.
• Manage your student interaction and response to their learning using data and metrics to help meet defined KPIs. These KPIs primarily reference the learning gain of a student.
• Employ bespoke remediation strategies to enable student academic progress
• High level of contact with students to encourage, motivate and clearly enable students to achieve their best
• Grading and moderating student submissions
• Could involve the development of content to maximise online learning.
• Coordinating and running student discussion forums pertaining to the classes.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree as well as a PGCE, BEd or other accepted teaching qualification (SACE number).
• Evidence of effectively working with young people to promote their individual academic potential
• Experience teaching the UK curriculum will be an advantage.
• Work to and meet deadlines
• Adept in a technological environment
• Engaging communication skills with both parents and students
• Ability to work in an agile environment where innovation, change and adaptation are part of the everyday.
