Industrial Planning Manager at Alstom

Purpose of the Job

Responsible of all recurrent and non-recurrent planning activities for the area to ensure the “On Time Delivery expecting the customer / projects contractual milestones. Ensure that all the key function on his area (engineering, sourcing, manufacturing engineering, industrial) provide their inputs regarding planning according to the agreed update frequency: 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure respect of contractual committed deliveries on time.
• Ensure area is using standard Gibela scheduling tools with accurate data.  S&OP (Sales & Operation Plan)
• Ensure Gibela process is applied in the area
• Global planning: Prepare different scenarios for the coming 36 months according to Commercial and Industrial inputs, including long term function workload, and internal and supplier’s capacity.
• Ensure planning synchronization with other areas/sites and HQ Central functions
• Contribute to continuous improvement about planning processes & tools
• Set up additional site-specific planning local instructions under the roof of the sector processes. 
• Develops direct reports and provides leadership
• Ensure correct execution and respect of budgets
• Ensure planning coherency between the different function at area level

Requirements

• Btech  in Industrial or Planning related qualification
• 3 to 5 years’ experience
• Scheduling process & tool
• Project management, industrial / construction knowledge
• Development process
• Responsible of the S&OP execution
• Promote continuous improvement culture to improve site performances and great discipline in all planning activities.
• Performance of Projects regarding deliveries on time (OTD, PCx, documentation, Gate Reviews GO on time, sales, cash) compared to contract and budget
• Development of Planning population on the area for the different function: engineering, sourcing, industrial, supply chain (optimize headcount, competency, training
• Improvement of process, tools and culture, Return of Experience
